General Introduction
Power cables are cables used to transmit and distribute high-power electrical energy in power systems. Common low-voltage cables with rated operating voltage below 1000V, medium-voltage cables with rated operating voltage below 35kV, and high-voltage cables with rated operating voltage higher than 35kV.
